Most putters twist.
On every stroke the face rotates open and shut, and your start line goes with it. Zero torque design removes that twist, so the face points where you aimed. It is the biggest shift in putting in years, which is exactly why the premium brands charge £300 to £500 for it.
We build the same technology, properly, and sell it for £99.
An aluminium alloy head with a CNC milled face, not a cast zinc copy. We skipped the tour budget and the retail markup, not the manufacturing.
Three things worth knowing about the build.
A milled face, in aluminium.
The face that meets the ball is CNC milled, and the head is aluminium alloy rather than cast zinc. Putting is a feel game, and zinc sounds like what it is.
Balanced to stay square.
The shaft axis runs through the balance point, so the head has no leverage to twist.
Built to hold your line.
A 360 gram head, weighted to feel stable through the stroke rather than light and flighty.
The same zero torque technology. One third of the price.
The big brands
£300 to £500
- Zero torque geometry
Tour budget, retail margin and brand markup, all in the price.
Heron 01
£99
- Zero torque geometry
An aluminium head with a CNC milled face, sold direct. You pay for the putter and nothing else.
The tour moved. The price did not.
In 2020, twenty of the fifty best putters on the PGA Tour still used a blade. Going into 2026, nobody in the men's world top ten does.
Then the mallets themselves changed, and in June 2025 a zero torque putter won the US Open. Hard to ignore, and hard to act on at three or four hundred pounds. So we had one built to our own spec, and sell it without the tour markup, for ninety nine pounds. One putter, made properly, at a price that makes sense.

The things people ask before pre-ordering.
When does it ship?
Estimated dispatch is December to January. We place the production order on 31 October, then it is made, quality checked and shipped to you. We are aiming to have every putter with its owner before Christmas, but we will not promise a date we do not control. If anything slips we will email you early with a revised date.
Can I change my mind after I pre-order?
Yes. Cancel any time before dispatch and we refund you in full. Once it arrives you have our 30 day guarantee on top of your statutory rights.
What is the head made of?
An aluminium alloy head with a CNC milled face. The face that meets the ball is milled, and the head is aluminium rather than cast zinc.
Can I return it?
Yes. Putt with it for 30 days. If you do not love it, send it back. See our returns page.
Why is it so much cheaper than the big brands?
No tour budget, no retail middle layer, one model done properly. You pay for the putter, not the marketing.
